ASGA Call #69: Can Solar Grazing Help Reduce Greenhouse Gas Pollution?

Hello Reader,

We know solar energy has a substantial impact on reducing carbon pollution, but how does combining sheep farming and solar energy increase the environmental benefits of both solar and agriculture?

Join us for ASGA's August webinar as we explore this question with experts studying both the environmental benefits of solar grazing and the emissions impacts of sheep farming.

We’ve invited Robert Handler and Joshua Pearce to discuss their exciting new paper analyzing the benefits of grazing sheep on solar sites over a 30-year life cycle. To bring more context to the discussion, we’ve invited Erin Recktenwald from Michigan State University to discuss ongoing research estimating the greenhouse gas emissions from different types of sheep production.

ASGA will continue to explore how solar grazing can help improve our environment.

Hit reply and let us know: What environmental impacts and benefits from solar grazing are you interested in hearing about at future ASGA events?
