Hello Reader, ASGA is bringing the sheep to this year's RE+ solar industry convention! We'll be premiering the first ever solar grazing short documentary at the event and bringing our farmers' stories to the heart of the solar industry. If you're attending, please register to attend the premiere (it's free!). If you've already registered (go you!), then please share the link with your friends and colleagues. The first 100 guests to arrive will receive a special gift: https://solargrazing.org/film-premiere Solar Grazing Documentary Premiere
If you haven't seen the trailer, check it out here: https://solargrazing.org/film/#trailer Second premiere + panel discussion on engaging farmers and rural communitiesOn Tuesday 09/10, at 1:00pm at the Installation and Operations Theater, we'll host a second premiere on the show floor and have a short panel discussion with ASGA farmers and solar developers on the importance of building strong relationships with farmers and how solar grazing can help with community engagement during permitting and operations. We'll also showcase another video from our film project that you won't want to miss! Stop by the ASGA booth and meet some sheep under solar panels!!Did I mention that we're bringing sheep to the convention? When I say sheep, I mean real live sheep... ASGA is going to bring a small flock of 5 ewes to the convention for our solar grazing display. It's one thing to talk about solar sheep, but actually seeing and getting to meet the animals is a great opportunity to showcase why livestock are important to solar site management. Make sure to come by our booth and snap a picture with the sheep! This is the one RE+ booth you absolutely won't want to miss. We'll have the display up from the 10th to the 12th (Tuesday to Thursday). We'll be just outside the Anaheim Arena (Booth SV10, Agrivoltaics Showcase), on the side closer to Katella Ave and Disneyland/California Adventure. It's right by registration. Here's what that looks like on the map: If you would like to support projects like the film, our participation in conferences like RE+, and our educational work to support farmers, please consider donating to ASGA or sponsoring us.
